Symphony concert

Went to a concert yesterday.

It was amazing!

It's awesome to see so many talented local musicians!

Sutton Symphony Orchestra is an amateur orchestra

but the standards are so high!

   

Black Friday

Internet shopping v traditional? 

Which one you prefer?

So strange to have Black Friday here in Britain.

Because we are't celebrating American Thanksgiving!

Do stores trick our senses to make us buy more? 

I treated myself to a new sheepskin rug from IKEA.

I just love them!

Sheepskin adds texture and coziness.

It visually softens a space

and  invites you to sink into a comfortable seat and put your feet up))

New sofa bed

My new sofa is finally in place.

IKEA delivered it today at 7am (!)

And the table is by the window now.

The Imitation Game

Yesterday we went to the cinema.

Little S wanted to see The Imitation Game with Benedict Cumberbatch.

At first, i wasn't convinced)

But now i just adore this movie!

Benedict Cumberbatch stars as Alan Turning, the genius British mathematician  and first computer inventor.

Benedict Cumberbatch is simply wonderful! 

One of the best British films!

Highly recommend! 

Hyacinth

A beautiful Monday morning here in our town.

Sunny and crisp November day.

I planted several Hyacinth bulbs in several pots. 

Love the way they look))

Breakfast by candlight

It is so dark out there today.

If only i could accept shorter days.

So i lit my candles...at breakfast!
