Sunday roast


This recipe for pork roast was given to me by my friend Natasha.
The delicious recipe that is simple  and easy to make!


1.5 kg Pork roast

1 oven roasting bag

for the marinade:

150ml red wine
3 Tbsp cranberry sauce
1 onion, sliced
1 apple, sliced
pinch of nutmeg
salt, pepper
3 bay leaves

Mix all the ingredients for the marinade.
Marinade pork over night.
Place pork along with marinade in a bag, tie the ends. Cut a few small holes in the top of the bag to allow steam to escape.
Bake for 2.5 - 3 hours, oven 170*.
Carefully cut open the bag and remove the meat. Cover with foil and keep warm.
Pour the juices with bits of onions and apples in a blender and blitz until smooth.
Transfer into a pan and reduce to the consistency of a sauce.
