Prawn salad

Summer prawn salad.
Easy to make,
tasty, fresh and summery:

salad leaves
cherry tomatoes
cucumber
prawns
boiled egg
mayonnaise
or
French dressing.

I'm still waiting for my peonies to bloom)
Some buds were really tight
when i bought them a week ago.
The loose ones are opening just fine
but the tight ones haven't budged.

Japanese day and coconut candle

Photos from http://www.chiddingstonecastle.org.uk/

S. went to see the annual celebration
of Japanese culture
at Chiddingstone castle today.
There were displays of Kendo, Japanese fencing; talks and displays of Bonsai trees; Sushi demonstrations in the Victorian Kitchen; Taiko drumming displays and demonstrations of Samurai sword arts - Iai and Tameshigiri; a concert of traditional Japanese music played on Shinobue and Shakuhachi; Kamishibai storytelling for children; beautiful Ikebana flower displays and Shodo, Japanese calligraphy.

She took some pictures
with her mobile phone)

14-year-old photographer!)))

And she got me a present!
Beautiful  candle
that smells so good!
Love you baby! XXX

Well,
the weekend is almost over...
Have a good week (ahead)!

Banana pancakes

As a true pancake lover
I simply can not get enough of these
two ingredients banana pancakes!
They became so popular in Internet
especially among those
 who follow  LCHF diet.

1.5 ripe bananas, mashed
2 eggs

Pour about 2 tablespoons of the batter onto a pan placed over a medium-low heat and cook until the bottom appears set (1 to 2 minutes).
Flip with a spatula and cook another minute.

Add any extra ingredients!
These pancakes are pretty great on their own, but a few extras never hurt)
This time I added 1 tsp of Chia seeds, 1 Tbsp of ground sunflower, pumpkin, goji berries, blueberries mix, 1 Tbsp of peanut butter.
