Christmas brunch

We celebrated a festive day with a delicious brunch.

Fluffy pancakes with white chocolate chunks and dry cranberries,

with the crispy bacon and a drizzle of maple syrup... yummy...

popped into a few shops.

This year my Christmas tree is dressed in a very calm tones.

I wanted to choose color scheme 

that doesn't clash with my room,

focusing on the green tree itself.

Oatmeal Pancakes

These pancakes are light and fluffy

and sooo moreish!...

Absolutely one of my new favorite thing right now! 

1 cup quick oats

1 egg

about 1/2 cup milk

1 grated apple (or any fruit, nuts or berries)

1 Tbsp sugar (or honey)

pinch salt

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp nutmeg

2-3 Tbsp melted butter

Combine the ingredients in a bowl.

Heat a nonstick pan over medium heat. Coat pan with cooking spray or add a tsp of oil. Spoon about 1 1/2 tablespoons batter per pancake onto griddle. Turn pancakes over when tops are covered with bubbles and cook until bottoms are lightly browned.

Fresh Pasta with Mushrooms

This is one of the easiest yet tastiest recipes! Perfect for Sunday lunch)

Fresh pasta

spring onions

mushrooms

best of your olive oil

garlic

salt, pepper

Slice the mushrooms.

Cook the pasta according to packet instructions and drizzle with olive oil.

Fry the onions and garlic in oilve oil, toss in the mushrooms, salt and pepper. Cook for 3-5 minutes or until brown.

Toss everything together and serve!...
