Hot Cross Bun Bread and Butter Pudding


Interesting twist on a family favorite,
easy and super tasty
 bun and butter pudding.
Great idea to use up your leftover fruit buns.

4 hot cross buns
butter
3 eggs
about pint of milk
sugar to taste
cinnamon


Whisk the eggs, sugar and cinnamon together with a fork in a large bowl.
Halve the buns and spread with the butter. Arrange in an ovenproof dish.
Pour over the milk and egg mixture and set aside to soak for 20 mins.
 Press the buns down into the custard mixture as they soften.
Bake for 45-60 mins until set.
