Chicken cacciatore

This excellent sauce from Loyd Grossman  i bought the other day. The sauce is absolutely delicious! Not too spicy and very aromatic. Love it!

So i cooked chicken cacciatore.

1 small chicken, cut into pieces
1 jar Loyd Grossman tomato sauce

In a large heavy saute pan, heat the oil over a medium-high flame. Add seasoned chicken pieces to the pan and saute just until brown, about 5 minutes per side. If all the chicken does not fit in the pan, saute it in 2 batches.
Pour contents of the jar, 1/2 cup of water and cook for 30 minutes, covered with lid.

Off to Sunday roast with our friend!
Best roast ever!

A postcard arrived yesterday from a dear friend of mine who is visiting her relatives in Trinidad. I envy the sun and the sea))

There is always sunny on the island of Trinidad and Tobago! Or so we think;))
