Cheese and ham pasta salad for lunch

Delicious and easy pasta salad. One of my favorites! This time i simply bought it from the salad bar at Morrison but it is so easy to cook at home as i often do!

250g any pasta shapes
150 g ham, chopped
150g cheese, coarsely grated
3 Tbsp mayonnaise
2 Tbsp creme fraiche

Cook the pasta in a saucepan of salted boiling water following packet directions or until al dente. Drain and cool.

Combine the pasta, ham and cheese in a large bowl. Add mayonnaise  and toss until well combined.

Croydon rooftops.

Yesterday we went shopping to Croydon Centrale.
I needed to buy new summer office wear.
I have never shopped for office clothes at H&M before and was pleasantly surprised to find so many nice pieces!

Birkenstock style sandals

Birkenstocks are everywhere!

I wasn't so sure about "ugly" shoes, but...

I welcome to have a walk in my new sandals from M&S ))

What do you think of them?

Would you wear Birkenstocks?

Corn beef hash

2 Tbsp Worcester sauce
1 tsp grain mustard
300 g cooked potatoes
1 large onion
200g corned beef

Chop the corn beef into ½ inch (1 cm) dice, then scoop them all up into a bowl. Combine the Worcestershire sauce and mustard in a cup and pour this all over the beef, mixing it around to distribute it evenly.
Heat butter in a large skillet on medium heat. Add the onion and cook a few minutes, until translucent.
Mix in the chopped corned beef and potatoes. Spread out evenly over the pan and press down on the mixture with a metal spatula.
Continue to cook in until the potatoes and the corned beef are nicely browned.
Serve with ketchup.

How to read a newspaper according to Wiki How:

1 Remember that newspapers are written with a very specific formula: the who, what, when, where, why, and how always come first. Everything else, background information, quotes from witnesses, etc, comes later. It is the journalist's formula for success.

2 Start with the headlines. This is the most succinct way to determine what will be of interest and what is just fluff.

3 Once you've found an article you'd like to read, read only the first paragraph or two. You can glance over the rest if you like, but the first few lines are always the heart of the story, as long as you're dealing with a journalist who knows what he/she is doing.

4 Skim. Don't get too caught up in reading each article word for word. Usually, you can get the gist of any piece of writing just by picking up the main idea and a few key words. Only read in detail if the piece is of great interest or importance.

5 Don't jump around too much. Read all the pieces of interest on one page, then turn the page. A lot of time can be wasted going back and forth trying to find that article that caught your eye sixteen pages ago.

6 Focus. When you're in a rush, small distractions can really add up. This isn't to say you should ignore your spouse or children when they're trying to say good morning, but don't watch their every move as they pour their glass of orange juice. Chances are, if you've got time to sit and read a newspaper, your children can handle themselves.

Coffee meeting

Patisserie Valerie

Waterstones cafe

Two cafes I visited today)
First visit, an unsuccessful one, was to Patisserie Valerie. Far too expensive! Yes, the cakes look pretty, but service was slow and lazy. One cup of Americano £2.70! How good can coffee be!? It's only a coffee! You can almost have a meal for the price!
And then a lovely one to Waterstones cafe.
The Waterstones  cafe is our favorite. Cozy, quiet with excellent coffee and various cakes.
Had a very pleasant chat with a friend))

Manor park

Nice walk in the park.
Little S is practicing her skate.
As to me, taking photos of bumblebees  seems such a good idea :))
