Marrow pancakes

½ medium marrow, peeled and coarsely grated (about 500g)
1 egg
4 Tbsp. of self-rising flour
Pinch of salt and pepper
Sunflower or vegetable oil for frying

Mix all the ingredients.  Heat up a tablespoon of oil in a frying pan.  Put two spoonful of batter and fry the pancakes 3-4 min. on each side until all batter is used.
Serve warm with a dollop of  Crème Fraiche
