Wholemeal bread pudding

Tear 300 g of wholemeal bread into small pieces.Mix with 300 ml of milk, 75 g melted butter, 1 egg, 100 g of dark brown or demerara  sugar, 1 tsp of ground cinnamon, 1 tsp of nutmeg.
Transfer to a buttered dish and bake for about  35-40 minutes in a hot oven 160*-170*C
