Quick Kedgeree with Smoked Mackerel

3 cups cooked rice (when cooking your rice it is nice to add a couple of cardamom pods and a star anise to it)
1 onion chopped
1tsp turmeric powder
1tsp ginger powder
1/2 tsp chili flakes
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cumin seeds
3 eggs
100g smoked mackerel (tear with your hands into small pieces)

Fry the onions until translucent then add the spices. After one minute add rice and your fish. Mix well and serve with Benedict or hard boiled egg on the top...
Serves 3.
